When Luke made Casey his boyfriend, I wrote that the storyline was turning into a comedy. And I meant that in a good way since the plot had already gotten so surreal and absurd. Here’s more evidence that ATWT is becoming comedic. Here’s the setup: Brad is getting married to Katie, and Gay Henry (Katie’s ex and Maddie’s brother) is helping Brad buy a tuxedo. And yes, Gay Henry is wearing one of his gay shirts. For those who don’t remember, it was Henry who told Maddie that Noah was gay after learning it from Win. And it was Henry who told Luke not to move into a dorm or apartment with Noah. That resulted in Noah moving to Emma’s farm which meant no Nuke Lovin’. Bad Henry! A few notes: Brad is Luke’s goofy fratboy cousin. At a party given by Lily in honor of Brad’s return, he made a gay joke without realizing that Luke was gay. It was pretty mild; Brad made effeminate gestures when describing interior designers and called them “twinkle toes.” Lily went nuts and threw Brad out. Holden and Luke later told Lily that she over-reacted. The scene was meant to show two things: 1) Lily’s diet pill addiction made her unstable; 2) Lily still felt a lot of guilt over initially rejecting Luke’s homosexuality, so she became overprotective. Luke seemed fine with Brad at the time. Then several months later, from seemingly out of the blue, Luke let Brad have it at WOAK. He made it clear that he was not okay with Brad’s “twinkle toes” comment and refused to accept Brad’s apology. In truth …

PART 4 of 4. This is possibly my favorite episode so I uploaded the full show. And excerpts. OLD LOVABLE LUKE IS BACK!!!! As is Nuke! And Luke’s bold striped shrt! Here we see Luke with all the doubts, insecurity and humilty that he had when Nuke first dated. In fact, it looks like they’re first dating. And Noah is now completely supportive of Luke regarding Brian. What a change. The biggest difference of today’s Noah and the Noah that first dated Luke is that he now expresses his love freely. Early Noah choked on his words and always looked away. Compare that with the watch scene. Are old Luke and Nuke really back??? Or are the writers settinng us up for a massive shock (as some rumors say)? Is it a coincidence that not only are old Luke/Nuke back, but so are Jade and Maddie? In fact, check out the publisher that Henry was talking to. Doesn’t she look like Gwen? Coincidence??? There is also talk of Luke’s gay-friendly cousin, Lucy, and a woman who pretended to be Jennifer (Dusty’s ex-wife; Will’s sister — she died when I first started watching ATWT). Are all these old reminders a desperate attempt by ATWT to get ratings? I like it! I even included the Henry and Vienna parts so that you guys can see why Soap Opera Digest voted them “Most Entertaining Couple.” Both characters were initially supposed to be on for only a few weeks but both actors did so well in their separate storylines that fans demanded them back. ========== As a Holiday gift, you guys can download hires versions of these kisses!
