of her 4 marriages, she only took mj’s name. when they divorced the only thing she asked was that her name be reverted to presley. media and most of the public questioned the timing of the marriage in ‘94 but they were not looking at lisa but at mj. that the marriage was to deflect the child molestation charges. fact is, these 2 were head over heels in love. they just were not emotionally and mentally equipped to hurdle their marital problems. both were just too proud and obstinate.

lisamarie totally betrayed mj in larry king and diane sawyer interviews (see the vids on youtube) by seeming very embarrased that she was ever married to him & she refused to support him during 2003-2005.
and the marriage’s timing (1994) was way too convenient. she needed michael for publicity, what does she actually do anyway? She’s like paris hilton; talentless and famous for her last name. Shes been married four times and yet shes never changed her name because she needs it for publlicity

OMG! i was just thinking the same thing yesterday. why would they need to pull a publicity stunt? they are already extremely public figures… they did it cuz they loved each other! besides… things like love and marriage in hollywood get like superficial fleeting attention… mj is so much bigger than that!

@rhyesonice a wife would get the chance to do that for a husband if he wasnt spontaneously disappearing without telling her where he’s going for weeks at a time. A divorce is caused by 2 people not just 1. Michael was HUMAN. He was not perfect. Everyone makes mistakes.
